Enhanced Media Picker
The new media picker enhances privacy by allowing users to choose which photos and videos apps can access. This feature limits the amount of sensitive information apps can access without explicit permission.
Clipboard Privacy
Enhanced clipboard privacy features include a new alert box in the lower-left corner when cutting or copying text. This alert provides a visual representation of the clipboard's contents, allowing quick edits. Clipboard history auto-clears after one hour to prevent unwanted access by apps.
Notification Permissions

Smart-Home Controls
Control smart devices directly from the lock screen without unlocking the device. Navigate to Settings > Display > Lockscreen > Control from the locked device to quickly access smart-home gadgets via the Home icon at the bottom left of the lock screen.

New Garbage Collector
The ART garbage collector now utilizes the Linux userfaultfd system call. This update reduces memory pressure and compiled code, improving overall system performance.
Unified Search Bar
